My Great, Great Grandfather who started the company.

Jammy Dodger - for all the right reasons.

High performance motorcycles.
Things that make me frown?
Wanton waste.


 


Favourite year in history?
1864 - The year our current premises, the Town Hall was built. It has previously been a cinema, dance hall, market and still retains many of it’s original features.
If I could have dinner with anyone it would be with?
Sir Ernest Shackleton.
Favourite biscuit?
I don’t eat biscuits - give me an apple any day.
Things that make me smile?
My children.
Things that make me frown?
Bad drivers.

Favourite year in history?
I’m not much of an historian, but I have always considered myself a very independent woman, so I would have to say 1928 - The year that women were given the same political rights as men.

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be with?
My grandma who passed away in 1999 - I’d love to have known her better and been able to tell her all about the triplets.
Favourite biscuit?
All butter shortbread - bonus if it has chocolate chips!

Things that make me smile?
My wonderful kids. My amazing husband. Cosy winter nights in.
Things that make me frown?
Not having enough time in the day to do everything I planned. Waiting in a long queue. Calories!

Favourite year in history?
1975 - ABBA released Mamma Mia. I was a year old and that’s when my keen ear for music started and when my grandparents were out my mum would put this record on and play it very loudly.
If I could have dinner with anyone it would be with?
My mum (Maggie) and I’d make

her the best dinner ever. She would be head of the table. I’d also ask Marilyn Monroe, Stephen Fry, Russell Brand, Chili Gonzales (French Canadian musician), Martin Luther King Jnr, Spike Milligan, Bob Ross (artist) and Bram Stoker. After dinner we’d play Pictionary.
Favourite biscuit?
Jacobs Cheese TUC Sandwich.

Things that make me smile?
Animals. Intelligent comedy. Anything by Spike Milligan. Silliness.
Things that make me frown?
Cruelty to animals, ignorance, out-of-touch-politicians, hypocrisy, littering and poor spelling, punctuation and grammar… there’s no excuse for any of the above.

2005 - The year I passed my driving test
If I could have dinner with anyone it would be with?
Tim Minchin - An

excellent stand-up comedian and an accomplished musician.
Favourite biscuit?
Dark Chocolate Digestive.

Things that make me smile?
The three F’s – Family, Friends & Food!
Things that make me frown?
Bad driving – indicators are there for a reason.

Favourite year in history?
No particular favourite, but the ability to travel through time would be awesome. Watch the battle of Hastings, the Wright brothers’ first flight etc etc.

My Grandad, if he were still alive.

No favourite, I like all biscuits.

Things that make me smile?
Having a laugh with friends. My kid’s crazy antics. Winning at pool. Things that make me frown?
